The Meander hotel has recently been completely reconstructed. It is situated in the wonderful foothill area of the High Tatras in the village Tatranská Štrba. The international railway station is only about 500 m from the hotel. The hotel offers suites, family rooms, single and double bedded rooms (additional beds possible). The guests have at their disposal a restaurant, a day bar and trhee conference parlours. Ther is also a sauna offering masssages, billiards and a tennis court. The guests can undertake numerous trips into the surroundings. In the winter you can ski on the nearby slopes about 400 m from the hotel or if you are an advanced skier, the slopes of Štrbské Pleso and Lopušná Dolina, both about 10 km from the hotel.

Pension Tatra is located directly in the High Tatras National Park forest in the altitude of 950 meters. Situated in Tatranska Strba, all the interesting Slovak mountain groups as High, Low, Western Tatras as well as Slovak Paradise are good accessible. Recently completely reconstructed, the pension offers 15 double and twin rooms with bathroom in two houses, one next to the other (totaly 32 beds, in some rooms, we can provide 3rd bed). A meadow with fireplace located between houses, is an attractive place for groups and families with children. Guest room with traditional oven, quiet place in the forest and environment round the house ensure you ideal relax. The guest room for 25-28 people is ideal for various workshops, working, or family meetings. Provided you book the accommodation, the guest room is available for free. You can observe forest animals in the neighbourhood of the pension, as squirrels, in exceptional case also a bear. There are cross-country-ski loops in winter. In summer, the houses are ideal starting point for trekking/hiking and MTB. The staff speaking English, German, Spanish and Italian and is at your disposal. 8 minutes of walking there is a funicular stop that brings you in few minutes to the skiing and cross-country-skiing centre Štrbské Pleso (1350 m). 20 minutes of walking there is railway station Strba that links Tatranská Štrba with Bratislava. Access to the houses is simple, and parking is available for approx.8-10 cars.
