Pension Tatra is located directly in the High Tatras National Park forest in the altitude of 950 meters. Situated in Tatranska Strba, all the interesting Slovak mountain groups as High, Low, Western Tatras as well as Slovak Paradise are good accessible.

Recently completely reconstructed, the pension offers 15 double and twin rooms in two houses, one next to the other. A meadow with fireplace located between houses, is an attractive place for groups and families with children. Guest room with traditional oven, quiet place in the forest and environment round the house ensure you ideal relax. You can observe forest animals in the neighbourhood of the pension, as squirrels, red deers, in exceptional case also a bear. The staff speaking English, German, Spanish and Italian and is at your disposal.

There are cross-country-ski loops in winter and the nearest skiing resort is only 7 km far. In summer, the houses are ideal starting point for trekking/hiking and MTB.

8 minutes of walking there is a funicular stop that brings you in few minutes to the skiing and cross-country-skiing centre Štrbské Pleso (1350 m). 20 minutes of walking there is railway station Strba that links Tatranská Štrba with Bratislava. Access to the houses is simple, and parking is available for approx.8-10 cars.
